Journey to Motherland

□  Purpose / 목 적         
ㅇ One of our main purpose for the Journey to Motherland is to help find lost mother and other family members. Especially for those Amerasians who got adopted to American and European family.                                                                                                            6.25 전쟁 60년 을더불어 그때에 태어나 입양되어온 회원들에게 그가족을 찾아주고자함

ㅇ To introduce Korean culture to those who were born in USA or came here at veryearly age.We would like to promote friendship and bond between two countries.                      미국에서 태어나 한국의 문화를 모르시는 혼혈인 회원들에게 한국을 경험할수있는 기회를 마련하여 혼혈인들과 한국에계시는 국민들에게도 서로를이해하는 시간을 가지고자함. 

ㅇ In commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Korean War, we Amerasians would like to give appreciation to two beautiful and distinctive cultures, which we Amerasians received at our birth.                                                                                                      6.25 전쟁60주년을 맞이하여 한국젼쟁이 혼혈인들에게 무엇을뜻하며 두나라의 아름다운 문화를 사랑하는마음을 표시하고자함

This meething is for anyone whom is part/mixed Korean. It doesn't matter what the precentage is, what the other mix is, how old you are and where you were born/raised. / 이번모임은 어디서 태어났던지 어디서 자라났던지   관계업이 한국인과의 혼혈인이시면 참여하실수 있읍니다.

Other folks (i.e. non-mixed Koreans) are welcome to attend as well as long as they have a sincere interst in people of mixd Korean descent (or if they are a significant other , etc.). / 다른분둘 께서도 (예: 혼혈이 아닌신분 ) 긍정적인 마음으로 혼혈인에대한 관심이 있으시거나 반례자가 혼혈인일경우에는 그분들의 참여를 환영합니다.

 There is no cost for the meeting itself, just for wherever we decide to have dinner. / 이번 모임은 무료이며 회의가 끝난후 저녁을 함께 하실때 식비는 본인 스스로 책임 짐니다.

It will consist of a few speakers and then open discussion between all attendees. We want it to be a social and networking opportunity for us all but semi-informational/educational at the same time. / 연설을 준비해 주신 분들의 말씀을 마치시면 모든분들이  네트워킹과 정보를 놔누며 질문 과 답변을 토론할수있는 시간이 예정되어있읍니다.

Philip "Flip"  Cuddy- Very prominent person/vioce of Korean-American History/Culture who also happens to be the Grandson of famous Korean patriot "Dosan" Ahn Chang Ho and son of Korean American pioneer Susan Ahn Cuddy. Frankie & Tia Legoski- Korean Amerasian couple whom are menbers of HAAUSA (Hanmi Amerasian Association of USA). They are the founders fo the non-profit organization Amerasian Unity Foundation as well as the creators of a collaborative effort named " Jouney to Motherland" which is a cultural event/trip to korean for 2010 to coincide with the 60th Anniversary of the Korean War. We will discuss this in further details at the meeting. / 후렝키 와 티아 리고스키- 이두분은 한미혼혈인협회  켈리포니아 대표로 봉사하고 있으며 혼혈인 연합재단을 창조 하셨으며  오는 2010년에는 6.25 반발 60년을 맞아 어머니의 땅을찾아 라는 주제로 모국방문을 준비하고 있읍니다. 그에대한 계획과 동기를 이번모임때에 발표를할예정입니다.
